That depends on the scope: what the extension should do, how many features it includes, whether something existing is customised or newly developed and how precisely the requirements are already defined. What is the difference between a plugin and a theme?
A theme determines the structure and appearance of your website. A plugin extends WordPress with features, for example a form, a calculation or a function in the shop – independent of the design. Which form suits your project we clarify in the consultation. Often a custom plugin is the better choice because the feature is kept if you change the design later.
Can you customise an existing plugin or theme?
Yes, that is one of our services. Whether and how a customisation makes sense depends on the respective plugin or theme, for example on the licence and how it is built. We check this in advance and tell you honestly if a custom extension or a different solution is the better choice.
Do we need to know exactly what we need?
No. It is enough if you tell us what your website should do or what bothers you today. We discuss with you how it can be implemented and prepare a quote from it. The more precise your idea, the more precise the quote.
Who looks after the website after development?
We can take that on: your website runs on our WordPress hosting, and with WordPress Care you get monitoring, a dedicated contact and project support. Care Premium and Care Shop include developer hours that you can use for customisations. We discuss together which combination suits you.
Do you also design your website?
Yes. If you need a website or online shop with design in your corporate identity, texts and basic SEO setup, you find it with our WordPress web design. The two can be combined: we design your website and develop the features that are needed beyond that.
