Is 300 GB enough for my repositories?
Whether 300 GB is enough depends on the size and history of your projects. Plain source code usually needs little space, whereas binary files, many branches and long histories need considerably more. Users and repositories are unlimited in every plan – you only choose by disk space. If space gets tight, you can move to a larger plan at any time. For more than 300 GB or special requirements, we will gladly prepare a custom quote.
Is Git Enterprise suitable for monorepos?
Yes. A monorepo bundles many components in a single repository and therefore quickly grows to a considerable size – especially with a long history. With 300 GB, Git Enterprise offers our largest storage for such code bases. Access via HTTPS or SSH works as usual, and your repository is backed up daily. If you plan several very large monorepos or need more than 300 GB, we will agree a custom solution with you.
How do I connect Git Enterprise to build servers and deployments?
Store separate public keys for your build and deployment servers so that they access the repositories via SSH without stored passwords. With custom hooks you automatically trigger notifications or deployments on every push. This way Git Enterprise fits seamlessly into the existing workflows of large teams. If you also need integrated CI/CD pipelines, merge requests and issues, a managed GitLab server from LCube is the ideal addition.

How do I move existing repositories?
Create the repository with us and transfer it with git push --mirror – including all branches, tags and the complete history. Afterwards you only need to update the remote URL in your local working copies, for example with git remote set-url origin. You set up users, organisations and access rights conveniently in the web interface. If you have questions about the move, our specialists will help you personally – no call centre.
