On our own cloud platform VEP Cloud (Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud) you choose how much you want to handle yourself: with the VEP Cloud servers Silver and Gold we run your servers as managed servers – highly available, with managed security and fixed configurations. With the VEP Self-Service Cloud you create resources yourself and pay by the hour only for what you use.
Both options run on the same redundant platform in German data centres, GDPR compliant and with a provider certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Whether a business-critical online shop, a company application or an automated test environment – we find the right solution with you and support you personally.

Frequently asked questions about the VEP Cloud
What is the Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud (VEP)?
The VEP Cloud is our own cloud platform made in Germany for managed servers, containers and business-critical workloads. It has a redundant design and offers snapshots and backups, flexible resources and managed security. We operate it ourselves in German data centres and support you personally – without detours via large US providers.
VEP Cloud servers or self-service cloud – which suits me?
If you do not want to look after the operating system, updates and security yourself, the VEP Cloud servers Silver or Gold are the right choice: we run them as managed servers at a fixed monthly price. If you have your own team that sets up and automates servers itself, the self-service cloud offers more freedom and hourly billing. We are happy to advise you.
What is the difference between VEP Cloud Silver and VEP Cloud Gold?
Both run on the same highly available platform. VEP Cloud Silver offers a stated availability of 99.9%. VEP Cloud Gold reaches 99.99% and adds geo-redundancy as well as a backup in an independent data centre. We recommend Gold if your system must keep running even after a major incident at one location.
Can I adjust the resources later?
Yes. On the VEP Cloud you adjust CPU, memory and storage without reinstalling. If the load rises, for example during the Christmas season of your online shop, we increase the resources of your cloud servers without your server having to be set up again. In the self-service cloud you adjust resources yourself. We plan larger environments individually.
Why is the term 12 months?
The entry configurations of VEP Cloud Silver and Gold are designed for long-term, business-critical operation and are offered with a 12-month term. This allows us to provide the stated availability and the redundant infrastructure it requires at predictable monthly prices. In the self-service cloud, by contrast, you pay by the hour based on use.
Can I run AI applications on the VEP Cloud?
Yes, for many projects. Automation with n8n and connecting external AI interfaces run well on the VEP Cloud or a managed vServer – without a graphics card. Small language models mainly need plenty of memory and run on the CPU. For an AI chat for your team, applications with your own data or large models we recommend dedicated servers with NVIDIA GPUs. Our AI hosting page shows which environment suits your project, and we are happy to advise you personally.
Can I also use Kubernetes on the VEP Cloud?
Yes. Besides classic servers we also run Kubernetes clusters for container applications on the VEP Cloud – with free management and hourly billing of resources. This lets you combine classic servers and containers on the same platform in Germany. More about Kubernetes
