Actual requirements depend on usage: many simultaneous pipelines, large repositories or an extensive registry need more power. Users and projects themselves are unlimited. You can move to a larger plan at any time, and our GitLab specialists will gladly help you choose the right one.
Is GitLab Enterprise suitable for monorepos?
Yes. Large monorepos with many components and a long history place high demands on memory and storage speed, for example when cloning, in merge requests or in search. GitLab Enterprise offers 32 GB RAM, 16 CPU cores and 320 GB NVMe SSD as guaranteed resources for this. Work stays smooth even with very extensive code bases. If your requirements keep growing, we will design an individual setup with you on the Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud.
Can we extend GitLab Enterprise with runners and Kubernetes?
Yes. For large teams we provide pre-configured GitLab runners, managed on request and also with special requirements such as GPUs. The runners operate separately from the GitLab server so that compute-heavy builds do not slow down your instance. You can also test and publish your applications in a managed Kubernetes cluster that you connect directly to GitLab. A site-to-site VPN connection to your company network is also available on request. Ask for advice
