You choose current Java and Tomcat versions, deploy your applications in the Tomcat Manager and benefit from the automatic restart on errors. 64 MB of Java memory are guaranteed and can be expanded. On top come a domain, 500 mailboxes as well as PHP, CGI and Perl for supporting scripts.

Questions about Java Pro
Is Java Pro enough for my application?
Java Pro is designed for Java applications with 2 GB storage, 200 GB traffic and 20 MySQL databases. Memory is often the deciding factor: 64 MB are guaranteed, and you add more when needed. If your application keeps growing, you move to a larger plan or a managed vServer without data loss.
Can I test Java Pro for free first?
Yes. You can test Java Pro free of charge and without obligation for one month: click “Try free for 1 month” or tick the trial option in the order form. During the trial you deploy your application to your own Tomcat instance via the Tomcat Manager and check whether 2 GB of storage and 20 MySQL databases are sufficient. After the trial period you receive an email. If you want to continue, book Java Pro for 10,90 € per month incl. VAT – your data and access details are kept. If you do not reply, the trial plan is deleted and there are no costs. One trial plan is possible per customer.
When is Java Pro no longer enough?
Java Pro is the largest of our Java plans. If your application permanently needs several gigabytes of memory, many simultaneous connections or a special Java and Tomcat configuration, a managed vServer with guaranteed resources is the better choice. We plan the move together with you so that your application keeps running without a long interruption.
Can I separate test and production in Java Pro?
Yes. With 20 MySQL databases and enough storage you run a test version of your application with its own database next to the production system, for example under a separate context path or subdomain. This lets you check new versions safely before releasing them to all users in the Tomcat Manager.
How do I deploy my application?
You upload your application as a WAR file in the Tomcat Manager and start it there. The Tomcat Manager also shows which applications are running, and you can reload or stop them. You trigger a complete restart of your Tomcat instance via a trigger file. Our specialists are happy to help you personally with the initial setup.
Can I move from Java Pro to a larger plan later?
Yes, at any time. Java Pro is our largest Java plan. If your application needs more memory or its own services, we move it to a managed vServer. Your applications, emails and data are kept, and we personally support you with the switch. Our specialists are happy to discuss in advance which size suits your workload. Compare all Java plans
