It automatically backs up servers, virtual machines, workstations, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, websites and NAS and protects them against data loss and ransomware. Thanks to central management and fast restore you minimise downtime and stay operational.
Your backups are stored encrypted in the Acronis data centre in Frankfurt, and geo-redundantly on request. You pay per protected device and for the storage used – and we set everything up for you, as an Acronis partner and your personal contact.

Back up Microsoft 365: Acronis or Hornetsecurity?
Acronis Microsoft 365 backup (3,74 € per seat/month, unlimited storage) is the pure backup for Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams – ideal if you already use Acronis for your servers and workstations.
Hornetsecurity Enterprise Backup (8,33 € per mailbox/month) combines backup with email security, Advanced Threat Protection and archiving – ideal if you want to protect Microsoft 365 all round.

Frequently asked questions about Acronis Backup
How are backup costs calculated?
You pay per protected device and month – for example 44,87 € for a physical server, 12,72 € for a virtual machine or 6,35 € for a workstation, each including VAT. On top comes the storage actually used in the Frankfurt data centre at 0,07 € per GB and month. For Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace storage is unlimited and already included in the price.
What does geo-redundant storage mean?
With geo-redundant storage your backups are additionally stored in a second, physically separate data centre. This keeps them available even if a data centre fails completely. The surcharge is 0,05 € per GB and month including VAT on top of the normal storage price. We recommend geo-redundancy especially for business-critical data and for high availability and compliance requirements.
Does the backup also protect against ransomware?
Yes. Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud detects typical ransomware activity, stops suspicious processes and automatically restores affected files. Because your backups are stored separately from your systems in the Frankfurt data centre, an attack on your network cannot encrypt them. For additional protection of your endpoints we recommend the endpoint modules EDR or XDR.
How quickly can I restore data?
You restore individual files and folders within minutes via the console. Entire systems can be restored to the same or new hardware or as a virtual machine. If an outage cannot wait, you start critical systems directly in the Acronis Cloud with disaster recovery. We support you with every restore and, on request, regularly test the procedures with you.
Can I also back up my website or hosting server?
Yes. Acronis backs up websites for 2,81 € and hosting servers for 6,35 € per month including VAT – regardless of where they are operated. This gives you an additional, external backup of your website, databases and configurations that can be restored quickly after errors, hacker attacks or accidental deletion. For customers with a server at LCube we are happy to set up the backup directly.
