Is 2,000 MB enough for my repositories?
That depends on the size and history of your projects: plain source code usually needs little space, while binary files and long histories need considerably more. If you reach the 2,000 MB limit, we do not block access – you receive an info email and keep working without interruption. If needed, you can move to a larger plan at any time; repositories and developers stay unlimited. Compare all plans
Why is ReposOnly Starter the most popular plan?
With 2,000 MB, ReposOnly Starter offers twice the storage of Micro and therefore enough headroom for several source code projects of a small team, including their history. As in every plan, repositories, developers and groups are unlimited, so you do not pay per user. Many customers start with the free trial and then choose Starter, because the plan still fits when new projects are added over the course of the year.
How do I organise several projects in ReposOnly Starter?
A separate repository per project or client has proven itself. In SVNDevAdmin you combine developers into groups and assign permissions to match the projects – so everyone only sees what they work on. You can mix SVN and Git repositories, for example an older project in Subversion and a new one in Git. WebSVN and GITWeb give you an overview of all projects in the browser.

If the 2,000 MB of ReposOnly Starter get tight, you move to ReposOnly Basic with 4,000 MB – so you only pay for the space you actually need. Do I need SSH access for Git?
No, ReposOnly does not require SSH access: you reach your SVN and Git repositories via HTTPS with an official SSL certificate. Every common client supports this, and it usually works even in corporate networks with restrictive firewalls. If you still want to use Git via SSH, for example with key-based authentication, we recommend our Git hosting with SSH access, 2FA and 30 to 300 GB storage.
