What comes after the VREPOS 450?
The VREPOS 450 is the largest standard server in our REPOS range. If even that is no longer enough or you need special availability, we plan your environment individually: either highly available on our own VEP Cloud platform, redundant and scalable without downtime, or on a dedicated server with maximum performance on its own hardware. Both options are available on request – our specialists will advise you personally on setup and migration.
Is the VREPOS 450 suitable for companies with high security requirements?
Yes. The VREPOS 450 is a managed server: we handle installation, updates and monitoring, and root access is deliberately not included. Your team works via SSH and in Plesk Web Pro, and repositories are encrypted via HTTPS with SSL. The server is located in a German data centre, backed up daily and operated in compliance with the GDPR. LCube itself is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 – important evidence for your own audits.
Do I get root access?
No, root access is not included, because the VREPOS 450 is a managed server. You work via SSH and in Plesk Web Pro, while we handle installation, updates and monitoring of the server. This allows us to take responsibility for secure, always up-to-date operation, and it saves you the administration effort. If you need additional software, we install and configure it for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, for example Jira, Confluence, Jenkins or Redmine – we install and configure additional applications on your server by arrangement. This lets you run repositories, issue tracking, wiki and build processes on one server, all looked after by one provider. Our specialists check with you whether the resources of the VREPOS 450 are sufficient or recommend a larger server. Ask for advice

The minimum term is 3 months. So there is no long commitment, and you can put the VREPOS 450 to work in your team’s daily routine without pressure.
