The BusinessPaket and BusinessPaket Pro additionally give you SSH access for Composer, Git and your own deployments. Your websites run on highly available servers in German data centres, and you can test every plan free of charge for one month.

Frequently asked questions about PHP hosting
Which PHP versions are available?
In every plan you use PHP 7.4 to 8.x. You set the version per website in Plesk. This lets you run older applications that still need an earlier version alongside new projects on current PHP. We recommend moving applications to current PHP versions where possible – that brings more speed and security.
Can I test the plan for free first?
Yes. You can test the plan free of charge and without obligation for one month: click “Try free for 1 month” or tick the trial option in the order form. After the trial period you receive an email. If you want to continue, book the plan – your data and access details are kept. If you do not reply, the trial plan is deleted and there are no costs. One trial plan is possible per customer.
Do I need a database for my PHP application?
Many PHP applications such as WordPress, Joomla or shops store their content in a MySQL database. The Micropaket contains no database and suits simple websites. From the PowerPaket upwards ten MySQL databases are available, 20 in the BusinessPaket and 40 in the BusinessPaket Pro – enough for several projects and test environments.
Can I use Composer and Git?
Yes, in the BusinessPaket and BusinessPaket Pro. Both plans include SSH access. With it you install dependencies with Composer, clone your repository via Git and run your own deployment steps. In the smaller plans you upload your files via FTP or SFTP. You can switch at any time without data loss.
How secure is my PHP hosting?
Your websites run on highly available servers in German data centres and are backed up daily. Operation is GDPR compliant, and LCube is certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Keeping your applications and the PHP version up to date closes known security gaps. If you have questions, our specialists help you personally.
