Which web hosting fits my project?
That depends on what you want to run. For a company website with email and your own PHP application our classic web hosting plans are enough. For WordPress, Joomla and Java we have dedicated plans tailored to them; Ruby on Rails and Node.js run in the Business plans with SSH. Online shops with many visitors run best on a managed server. Our specialists are happy to advise you personally on the right solution for your project.
Is a domain included in web hosting?
Yes. Every web hosting plan includes at least one domain of your own, the larger plans even several – six with the BusinessPaket Pro. You can add further domains at any time. This way customers reach your website and email addresses under your own name, without you having to take care of separate domain management.
Which programming languages are supported?
Our classic web hosting plans support PHP, CGI and Perl, and from the PowerPaket upwards also MySQL databases. The BusinessPaket and BusinessPaket Pro add SSH access as well as Ruby, Ruby on Rails with Phusion Passenger and Node.js. For Java applications with Tomcat there are dedicated plans. If you need a special environment, we find the right solution together with you.
Can I move to a larger plan later?
Yes, at any time and without data loss. When your project grows, simply move to the next larger plan with more storage, domains, mailboxes and databases. If your project needs dedicated resources, for example for a large online shop, a managed vServer is the next step. Our specialists plan and accompany the switch personally with you.
Do I need special hosting for WordPress?
WordPress also runs in our classic plans. With our WordPress hosting, however, you get an environment tailored to it, with the WordPress Toolkit, daily backups with 14-day rotation, protection against typical attacks and free migration. For WooCommerce and agencies there are managed vServers, and for business-critical websites the VEP Cloud. WordPress hosting
How does email work in web hosting?
Every plan includes mailboxes under your own domain – from five in the Micropaket to 80 in the BusinessPaket Pro. Thanks to IMAP idle/push, new messages appear immediately on your smartphone, tablet and computer. You use your usual email program or our webmail and keep your communication securely in German data centres.
What do I do if my project needs more power?
Then a managed vServer is the right choice: you get guaranteed resources you share with no one, and we take care of installation, updates and monitoring. For business-critical applications with the highest availability requirements we run your environment on our own cloud platform. Contact us and we will advise you personally. Ask for advice
Can I use Nextcloud with web hosting?
Yes, from the PowerPaket upwards. You install Nextcloud in Plesk with a few clicks under your own domain and then share files, calendars and contacts. You take care of installation and updates yourself in Plesk; the plan's storage is shared by your website, mailboxes and Nextcloud. For teams with more users, a lot of storage or office in the browser we recommend our managed Nextcloud server.

Exclusively in German data centres. Operation is GDPR compliant and your data does not leave Germany. LCube itself is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 – information security is an audited standard for us.
