Questions about VNC450
Is VNC450 enough for more than 300 users?
The 300 users are a guideline, not a fixed limit. What matters is how many employees work at the same time and how intensively they use office and syncing. If your environment grows beyond that or you need particularly high availability, we run Nextcloud with high availability on our own VEP Cloud. We design this environment individually with you and prepare a quote.
How long does migrating large amounts of data take?
That mainly depends on the amount of data and the internet connection of your current storage location. Hundreds of gigabytes cannot be transferred in a few minutes. That is why we plan larger migrations together with you, for example department by department, or the current data first and the archive afterwards. Talk to us before you migrate so your team can keep working without interruption.
Do I get root access?
No. VNC450 is a managed server: we handle installation, updates and monitoring, so root access is not included. You manage Nextcloud conveniently via the web interface, where you create users, groups and shares. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance. If you need additional Nextcloud apps or a special configuration, we set them up for you by arrangement.
What is the contract term?
The minimum term is 3 months. VNC450 costs 201,11 € per month or 2.292,65 € per year, both including 19% VAT. 100 GB storage is included, and each additional 50 GB costs 3,57 € per month. Can I switch later?
Yes. If your team grows or more colleagues use office in the browser, you move to a larger Nextcloud server. Your files, users and shares are kept. You expand the storage independently of this in steps of 50 GB. For very large or business-critical environments we run Nextcloud with high availability on our VEP Cloud on request.
