Can you set up notifications from GitLab or Jenkins?
Yes, by arrangement. Via webhooks and integrations, GitLab and Jenkins send messages about merge requests, issues, pipelines and builds straight to the right Mattermost channels. If you also run GitLab or Jenkins with us, we set up the connection from a single source. Your team then sees results where it already works together.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VMM250 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example GitLab notifications, bots or OpenProject. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider.
