That leaves enough headroom alongside the repositories for a web application in Plesk and for Redmine as a ticket system. Is switching from SVN to Git worthwhile on the VREPOS 250?
You decide that per project, because the VREPOS 250 serves SVN and Git at the same time. Existing Subversion projects continue unchanged, new projects start straight in Git. You transfer older projects including their history at your own pace. We are happy to help you move your repositories to the server. You manage users, groups and permissions for both systems centrally in SVNDevAdmin.
Do I get root access?
No, root access is not included, because the VREPOS 250 is a managed server. You work via SSH and in Plesk Web Pro, while we handle installation, updates and monitoring of the server. This allows us to take responsibility for secure, always up-to-date operation, and it saves you the administration effort. If you need additional software, we install and configure it for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, for example Jira, Confluence, Jenkins or Redmine – we install and configure additional applications on your server by arrangement. This lets you run repositories, issue tracking, wiki and build processes on one server, all looked after by one provider. Our specialists check with you whether the resources of the VREPOS 250 are sufficient or recommend a larger server. Ask for advice

The minimum term is 3 months. So there is no long commitment, and you can put the VREPOS 250 to work in your team’s daily routine without pressure.
