Questions about VNC150
Is VNC150 enough for my team?
For teams of up to about 10 users who mainly sync and share files and use calendars and contacts, VNC150 is the right size. With 2 guaranteed CPU cores and 4 GB RAM, Nextcloud runs on a server just for you. If many users edit documents in the browser at the same time, we recommend VNC250. You can switch at any time, and your files are kept.
Is 100 GB of storage enough?
For a small team with office documents, PDFs and photos, 100 GB is often enough to start with. Large amounts of data mainly come from videos, image data or archives. We expand the storage in steps of 50 GB, independently of the server size. So you do not have to move to a larger server just because your files need more space – you only pay for the additional storage.
Do I get root access?
No. VNC150 is a managed server: we handle installation, updates and monitoring, so root access is not included. You manage Nextcloud conveniently via the web interface, where you create users, groups and shares. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance. If you need additional Nextcloud apps or a special configuration, we set them up for you by arrangement.
What is the contract term?
The minimum term is 3 months. VNC150 costs 70,21 € per month or 800,39 € per year, both including 19% VAT. 100 GB storage is included, and each additional 50 GB costs 3,57 € per month. Can I switch later?
Yes. If your team grows or more colleagues use office in the browser, you move to a larger Nextcloud server. Your files, users and shares are kept. You expand the storage independently of this in steps of 50 GB. For very large or business-critical environments we run Nextcloud with high availability on our VEP Cloud on request.
