How do I connect VJEN 150 to my Git repository?
Jenkins builds from Git and SVN repositories, whether they are hosted with us, for example on a GitLab server, or with you or another provider. In the job you store the repository address and credentials. Builds start on a schedule, by polling for new commits or via a webhook straight after a push. Our specialists are happy to help you with the initial setup.
What kind of projects is VJEN 150 enough for?
VJEN 150, with 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and 40 GB NVMe storage, suits single projects and smaller build jobs that run one after another – such as scripts, libraries, websites or smaller applications. If several pipelines later run at the same time or your builds become more compute-intensive, simply move to VJEN 250. We are happy to advise you on the size that fits your builds.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VJEN 150 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example Jenkins plugins, build tools or Redmine. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider.
