How is the data on VRED 350 backed up?
Your server is backed up daily, so tickets, wiki, attachments and repositories are protected. VRED 350 runs in German data centres, operation is GDPR compliant, and LCube itself is certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Access is encrypted via HTTPS, and we handle updates and monitoring. Especially if your helpdesk processes personal customer data, this framework is an important argument.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VRED 350 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example RedmineUP plugins, Jenkins or Jira. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider.
