Every web hosting plan already includes at least one domain. You conveniently link additional domains to your web space or adjust the DNS records yourself. We move existing domains for you without your website and email going down – and agencies and resellers get their own reseller access on request.

Frequently asked questions about domains
Which domain extensions can I register with LCube?
You can choose from over 2,038 extensions. They include classic extensions such as .de, .com, .net, .org and .eu, country codes such as .at, .ch, .nl or .it and many new extensions such as .shop, .online, .cloud, .app or regional extensions such as .berlin. You will find all extensions with prices in our domain price list. If a particular extension is not listed, just ask us.
How much does a .de domain cost?
A .de domain costs 8,78 € in the first year and 5,80 € per year from the second year, each including 19% VAT. Billing is annual. If the domain is part of a web hosting plan, it is already included in the plan price. If you just want to reserve a .de domain for now, domain parking at 0,27 € per month is the most affordable solution.
Is a domain included in web hosting?
Yes. Every one of our web hosting plans includes at least one domain, the larger plans several. This way your customers reach your website and your email addresses under your own name. If you need further domains, for example for typo variants, other countries or individual products, we register them additionally and link them to your web space.
How do I transfer my domain to LCube?
For the transfer you need the auth code of your domain, which you receive from your current provider. We then handle the provider change for you. Beforehand we set up web space, email and DNS with us so that your website and mailboxes stay reachable during the switch. Contact us – we plan the transfer together with you and tell you exactly what to do.
Can I manage the DNS records myself?
Yes. In the admin area you link your domains to your web space or create DNS records such as A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT yourself. This lets you connect external email services, Microsoft 365 or search engine verifications, for example. If you would rather not configure anything yourself, our specialists will gladly take care of the configuration for you.
What does restore mean?
If a domain is deleted, for example because it was cancelled or not renewed, many extensions allow it to be recovered within a period set by the registry. The registry charges a fee for this restore, which we show in the price list. To make sure it never comes to that, we renew your domains automatically as long as you do not cancel them.
What is domain parking?
With domain parking you reserve a .de domain without booking a web hosting plan straight away. This is ideal if you want to protect a company or product name early or your project only starts later. Domain parking costs 0,27 € per month including VAT. When your project starts, you simply switch to a web hosting plan and keep your domain.
