When should I move to VOP350?
When OpenProject slows down at peak times, many users work at the same time or attachments are filling up the storage. Compared with VOP250, VOP350 doubles CPU cores, memory and NVMe storage to 8 cores, 16 GB RAM and 160 GB. We handle the move for you, and your projects and data are kept. We are happy to advise you whether the move makes sense for your workload.
Can roles and permissions be set up for many departments?
Yes. In OpenProject you assign roles and permissions per project, so each department only sees and edits the projects that concern it. Shared projects and cross-project reports remain possible. VOP350 gives you the resources for many projects and users on one server. We support you in setting up role concepts by arrangement.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VOP350 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example your Enterprise licence, Mattermost or a GitLab integration. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider. The minimum term is 3 months. VOP350 costs 129,71 € per month or 1.478,69 € per year, both including 19% VAT.
