Yes. On request we install and configure Jenkins on your VREPOS 350. Using custom hook scripts, you trigger builds and tests automatically after a commit, running directly on the server next to your repositories. With 8 CPU cores and 16 GB RAM there is enough power left for your team’s checkouts and commits to stay smooth even during a build. Our specialists agree the setup with you personally.
When should I move from the VREPOS 250 to the VREPOS 350?
Typical signs are noticeably longer response times at peak times, regular builds on the server or a team that has grown considerably. The VREPOS 350 doubles the CPU cores, memory and NVMe storage compared with the VREPOS 250. You can switch at any time, and repositories and developers remain unlimited. If you are unsure, our specialists will work out with you which size fits your usage.
Do I get root access?
No, root access is not included, because the VREPOS 350 is a managed server. You work via SSH and in Plesk Web Pro, while we handle installation, updates and monitoring of the server. This allows us to take responsibility for secure, always up-to-date operation, and it saves you the administration effort. If you need additional software, we install and configure it for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, for example Jira, Confluence, Jenkins or Redmine – we install and configure additional applications on your server by arrangement. This lets you run repositories, issue tracking, wiki and build processes on one server, all looked after by one provider.
