Imunify360 is a security solution for Linux web servers that combines several layers of protection in one system: a firewall with IP reputation, a web application firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, a malware scanner with cleanup and Proactive Defense for PHP. It is integrated directly into Plesk and protects all websites on your server – whether WordPress, Joomla, Shopware or your own applications.
We set up Imunify360 on your server at LCube, tune the rules to your applications and keep an eye on the alerts. This way attacks are fended off before they cause damage, and injected malicious code is detected and removed quickly.

Frequently asked questions about Imunify360
Which servers is Imunify360 suitable for?
Imunify360 is developed for Linux web servers and integrated directly into Plesk. We use it on servers at LCube that we operate with Plesk – from managed vServers to dedicated servers. This lets us take over setup, updates and monitoring completely. For websites with other providers we recommend Cloudflare as an additional protection layer, which we set up independently of the server.
What is the difference between WAF and Proactive Defense?
The web application firewall checks incoming requests for known attack patterns such as SQL injection or cross-site scripting and blocks them before they reach your application. Proactive Defense works behind it: it observes what PHP scripts actually do on the server and stops malicious actions at runtime. This also detects attacks for which no signature exists yet.
What happens if Imunify360 blocks a legitimate request?
Especially with custom applications, a rule can occasionally hit legitimate access, such as an upload or an interface. In this case we review the alert, adjust the rule specifically or exclude certain addresses and paths. This keeps the protection effective without disrupting your workflows. Simply contact us if you notice anything.
Does Imunify360 replace a backup?
No. Imunify360 fends off attacks and removes malicious code, but it does not replace a backup: deleted data, failed updates or encrypted files can only be restored from a backup. For your websites and servers we therefore also recommend Acronis Backup – for example 2,81 € per website or 6,35 € per hosting server per month including VAT, stored in the Frankfurt data centre.
