Ideal for teams that mainly communicate and work on documents together.
The desktop versions of the Office apps are not included – which makes Business Basic particularly affordable. If you need more later, simply move to Business Standard or Premium without losing any data.

Frequently asked questions about Business Basic
Can I use Word and Excel with Business Basic?
Yes, but only as web and mobile versions: you work in the browser and with the apps on smartphones and tablets. For many tasks this is entirely sufficient, especially as several people can work on one document at the same time. If you want to install the desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on a PC or Mac, Business Standard is the right plan.
How large is the mailbox with Business Basic?
Each user gets an Exchange mailbox with 50 GB of storage plus 1 TB of OneDrive storage for files. In practice this is enough for many years of email. You can also set up shared mailboxes such as info@ or service@ that several staff members handle together. We are happy to set them up for you.
Can I move to Business Standard later?
Yes, at any time. When you switch, all email, files, teams and settings are kept; your staff can then install the desktop versions of the Office apps. You can also upgrade only individual users and leave the rest on Business Basic. We handle the switch and agree the timing with you.
