That depends on team size, load and the applications you also want to run. VOP450 gives you 16 guaranteed CPU cores, 32 GB RAM and 320 GB NVMe storage just for you. Can I run further applications on VOP450?
Yes, by arrangement. With 16 CPU cores, 32 GB RAM and 320 GB NVMe storage, VOP450 offers enough resources to run, for example, Mattermost as a team chat alongside OpenProject. We check with you whether the resources are sufficient for all applications, set them up and keep them up to date. This gives you project planning and communication on one jointly managed server.
What if VOP450 is no longer enough?
Then we design your environment individually, for example with high availability on our VEP Cloud or on a dedicated server. On the VEP Cloud, CPU, memory and storage can be adjusted without changing hardware. You receive a custom quote, and we handle the migration of your existing OpenProject installation. Send an enquiry
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VOP450 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example your Enterprise licence, Mattermost or a GitLab integration. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider. What is the contract term?
The minimum term is 3 months. VOP450 costs 201,11 € per month or 2.292,65 € per year, both including 19% VAT.
