VEP Silver is our managed cloud server for online shops and company applications: 99.9% stated availability on our own redundant Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud in Germany – with flexible resources and managed security.
As a managed server, we take care of firewall, monitoring, updates and security management – you focus on your application. We adjust CPU, memory and storage without reinstalling, snapshots and backups are included, and clusters and load balancing are possible. The entry configurations run for 12 months; we plan larger environments individually with you.

With 99.9% stated availability, managed security and flexible resources you get a stable foundation. If you also need geo-redundancy, VEP Gold is the right choice.
What does LCube take care of with a managed server?
We take care of the firewall, monitoring, updates and security management of your server. You focus on your application. We adjust CPU, memory and storage without reinstalling. For special requirements we plan clusters and load balancing together with you.
How does it differ from a managed vServer?
A managed vServer offers fixed plan sizes at an affordable entry price. VEP Silver runs on our redundant cloud platform: resources can be adjusted without reinstalling, snapshots and backups are included and clusters with load balancing are possible. For business-critical applications VEP Silver is therefore the more robust solution.
Can I move to VEP Gold later?
Yes. VEP Silver and VEP Gold run on the same platform. If your availability requirements rise, we move your server to VEP Gold with 99.99%, geo-redundancy and backup in an independent data centre. We plan the switch so that your system keeps running with as little interruption as possible.
Why is the term 12 months?
VEP Silver is designed for long-term, business-critical operation. With a 12-month term we can provide the stated availability of 99.9% and the redundant infrastructure at predictable monthly prices. If you need flexible resources without a term, the VEP Self-Service Cloud with hourly billing is an alternative.
