Frequently asked questions about the Agency Server VEP Cloud Gold
When do I need the Agency Server VEP Cloud Gold instead of Silver?
Gold is recommended when an outage directly endangers your clients' projects, for example large online shops, booking portals or central company websites. Gold offers 99.99% instead of 99.9% stated availability, geo-redundancy with a second location and a backup in an independent data centre. Both lines run on the same platform, so switching is possible.
Which configuration do I need?
The configurations range from S with 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM to XXL with 16 vCPU and 32 GB RAM, each with 64 GB NVMe storage. For a few client projects with moderate traffic S is often enough; for many projects and larger shops L to XXL is more suitable. Visitor numbers and databases are what matters. We are happy to advise you based on your current load.
Why is the term 12 months?
The Agency Server VEP Cloud Gold is designed for long-term, business-critical operation. With a 12-month term we can provide the stated availability of 99.99% and the redundant infrastructure it requires at predictable monthly prices. For individual requirements, such as clusters or multi-server systems, we are happy to prepare a dedicated quote for you.
