Frequently asked questions about Copilot Business
Which data does Copilot use?
Copilot only uses the Microsoft 365 data that the respective user already has access to – their emails, files, chats and meetings and shared content. The permissions and data protection policies of your Microsoft 365 tenant continue to apply unchanged. So a user cannot see any information via Copilot that would otherwise be hidden from them. We are happy to review your sharing settings and permissions in advance.
Do I need Copilot for all staff?
No. Copilot Business is booked per user. Many businesses start with individual teams that write, analyse or sit in meetings a lot – such as sales, project management or management. The other staff use Business Standard or Premium without Copilot. Once the benefit becomes clear, you can extend Copilot to further users at any time.
Which plans does Copilot Business work with?
We offer Copilot Business together with Microsoft 365 Business Standard for 25,44 € and with Business Premium for 34,65 € per user and month, each including VAT with an annual commitment. Copilot cannot be combined with Business Basic, because the desktop versions of the Office apps are missing there. Moving from Basic to Standard with Copilot is possible at any time.
Do you support us with the rollout?
Yes. We review your permissions and sharing settings in advance so that Copilot only accesses the right content, activate the licences and show your staff in a training session via Teams how to use Copilot sensibly in everyday work. The training costs 153,51 € per hour including VAT. This way your team uses Copilot productively and securely from the start.
