How many builds can VJEN 250 run at the same time?
That depends heavily on your builds: a quick unit test needs few resources, while compiling large projects needs considerably more. With 4 guaranteed CPU cores and 8 GB RAM, VJEN 250 is well suited to teams whose pipelines regularly start in parallel. You define how many builds run at once via the executors in Jenkins. We are happy to help you find a sensible value.
Does VJEN 250 come with Plesk or a domain?
No. The Jenkins servers are built entirely for builds and deployments: Plesk and an included domain are not part of the package, so CPU, memory and NVMe storage are fully available to Jenkins and your build jobs. You work in the Jenkins web interface and via SSH; root access is not included. If you also need web hosting, for example for a test environment or project documentation, Jenkins deploys to a managed vServer or a web hosting plan after the build.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VJEN 250 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example Jenkins plugins, build tools or Redmine. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider.
