Can I run Redmine and Jenkins together on VRED 450?
Yes. With 16 CPU cores, 32 GB RAM and 320 GB NVMe storage, VRED 450 offers enough headroom to run further tools such as Jenkins, Jira or Confluence alongside Redmine. We install and configure the additional applications by arrangement and check with you whether the resources are sufficient for all services. This gives you your complete development environment on one server, looked after by a single provider.
What if even VRED 450 is no longer enough?
If you need more performance, particularly high availability or a VPN connection to your company network, we run Redmine on request with high availability on our VEP cloud. There, CPU, memory and storage can be adjusted without hardware changes or downtime. A dedicated server on its own hardware is another option. Our specialists plan the right environment and the move together with you.
Do I get root access?
No. You work via SSH; we handle installation, updates and monitoring. VRED 450 is a managed server: because we take responsibility for secure operation, root access is not included. For you this means no effort for patches and maintenance, and more time for your projects. If you need additional software or a special configuration, our specialists set it up for you by arrangement.
Can you install additional applications?
Yes, by arrangement – for example RedmineUP plugins, Jenkins or Jira. This turns your server into a complete development and project environment, looked after by a single provider.
