Is the PowerPaket enough for my project?
The PowerPaket is designed for 2 domains with 20 GB storage and 20 mailboxes plus 10 MySQL databases. That suits most projects of this size. If you need more domains, mailboxes or storage, you can move to a larger plan at any time without data loss. Our specialists are happy to advise you on the right plan for your project.
Can I test the PowerPaket for free first?
Yes. You can test the PowerPaket free of charge and without obligation for one month: click “Try free for 1 month” or tick the trial option in the order form. During the trial you check whether 2 domains, 20 GB of storage and 20 mailboxes are enough for your project. After the trial period you receive an email. If you want to continue, book the PowerPaket for 5,95 € per month incl. VAT – your data and access details are kept. If you do not reply, the trial plan is deleted and there are no costs. One trial plan is possible per customer.
Can I run two different websites in the PowerPaket?
Yes. The PowerPaket includes two domains and ten MySQL databases. Each domain can point to its own website, for example your company website and a separate product or campaign site. You can also create unlimited subdomains for test environments. If you need more domains or mailboxes, you can move to the BusinessPaket at any time.
Is the PowerPaket suitable for a small online shop?
For a small shop with WooCommerce and a few products, the PowerPaket is enough to get started. As your shop grows, visitor numbers and loading-time requirements rise considerably. We then recommend our shop hosting with optimised servers and guaranteed resources, so your shop stays fast even at peak times.
Can I install WordPress or Joomla?
Yes. With the included MySQL databases you run WordPress, Joomla and other content management systems. If you want an environment tailored to them with a toolkit for installing, updating and securing, we recommend our WordPress web hosting or Joomla hosting at the same fair prices.
Can I use Ruby on Rails or Node.js?
Ruby, Ruby on Rails and Node.js require SSH access and are therefore included in the Business plans. The PowerPaket supports PHP 7.4 to 8.x, CGI and Perl. If you want to run Ruby or Node.js applications, choose the BusinessPaket or BusinessPaket Pro – you can switch at any time without data loss. More about Ruby and Node.js
Can I run Laravel with the PowerPaket?
Yes. The PowerPaket includes the Laravel Toolkit in Plesk: with it you install dependencies via Composer, run Artisan commands such as migrations, set up the scheduler and deploy your application from Git – without SSH access, directly in the web interface. 10 MySQL databases are included. If you need the command line or Node.js for frontend builds, move to the BusinessPaket without data loss.
Can I build my website with a website builder?
Yes. The PowerPaket includes Sitejet Builder, a website builder in Plesk. You design your website by drag and drop from ready-made templates and sections, without any programming skills. On request the AI assistant creates a first draft with page structure and copy from a few details such as name, industry and a short description, which you then adapt. When publishing, the builder replaces the files of the domain – so for each domain you use either the builder or a CMS such as WordPress. More about the website builder
How is my data backed up?
We back up your websites and data daily. In addition, they are stored redundantly on brand-name hardware, so even the failure of a single component does not lead to data loss. The hosting servers run as a highly available cluster: if one machine fails, the second takes over almost instantly. This keeps your website reliably available.
Can I move from the PowerPaket to a larger plan later?
Yes, at any time. If 2 domains, 20 GB of storage and 20 mailboxes are no longer enough, you move to the BusinessPaket with 3 domains, 40 GB of storage and 40 mailboxes.
