Repositories, developers and traffic are unlimited. This makes ReposDev ideal for web developers, freelancers and agencies who want version control and hosting from a single source, on servers in Germany.
How does it differ from ReposOnly?
ReposOnly is pure repository hosting for SVN and Git – lean and affordable. ReposDev additionally includes web space with included domains, PHP, MySQL, email and SSH and FTP access. So you do not just version your projects – you develop, test and publish them in the same plan. If you only need repositories without web hosting, ReposOnly is the right and more affordable choice. Which PHP versions are available?
You can use PHP 7.4 to 8.x and select the version per website. That way you can run older projects and new applications side by side in the same plan and move to newer versions at your own pace. Python, Perl, Node.js, Ruby, CGI and SSI are available as well, plus MySQL databases for your web projects. If you have special requirements, we will gladly put together a custom solution on request.
How do I access my repositories?
You access your repositories via HTTPS with an official SSL certificate, and you can view files and versions right in your browser via WebSVN and GITWeb. You access the web hosting plan itself via SSH and FTP/FTPS, for example to transfer files or run commands. Custom hook scripts integrate your repositories into your workflows. If you want to use Git repositories via SSH, our Git hosting is the right choice.
Can I use Redmine?
Yes. You can add Redmine for project management and tickets as an option when you order. It lets you plan tasks, track bugs and document your projects right next to your SVN and Git repositories – without an extra tool from another provider. Your team works in one central place, and your project data also stays on our servers in Germany. Simply select the option in the order form of your plan.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time without data loss – repositories, websites, databases and mailboxes are kept, and there is nothing to set up again. You can also add storage and further domains without changing your plan. That way ReposDev grows flexibly with your projects. If a plan no longer suffices because of many users or high load, we will be happy to advise you personally on an own server. Compare plans

For you this means source code, websites, databases and emails stay under German jurisdiction and are managed to clear security standards.
