Frequently asked questions about Business Standard
On how many devices can I install Office?
With Business Standard each user can install the Office apps on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five smartphones. This way your staff work with the same programs at their desk, at home and on the go. The licence is tied to the user, not the device – if someone leaves, we simply transfer the licence to a new person.
What is the difference to Business Premium?
Business Standard includes all Office apps, email, Teams and cloud storage. Business Premium adds security and management features: Microsoft Defender for Business protects your devices, Intune manages PCs and smartphones centrally and Entra ID controls sign-ins and access. We recommend Premium for mobile staff, sensitive customer data and higher IT security requirements.
Can I add Copilot to Business Standard?
Yes. Business Standard with Copilot Business costs 25,44 € per user and month including VAT. Copilot supports your staff directly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams with writing, summarising and analysing. You can also book Copilot for individual users only, for example sales or management, and give the other users Business Standard without Copilot.
