Shopware on the VEP Cloud
If your Shopware shop is business-critical, it needs more than a single server. On our own VEP Cloud platform it runs with committed availability: 99.9% in Silver, 99.99% in Gold with geo-redundancy and backup in an independent data centre. As a Shopware Technology Partner we set up NGINX, Redis, Memcached, Varnish and Elasticsearch for Shopware.
You adjust vCPU and memory flexibly, for example for the Christmas season, and extend the storage when needed. We take care of the operating system, monitoring and security, and Plesk Web Pro is included in the price. You maintain your shop via Plesk or SSH. We plan several servers, clusters and load balancing individually on request.

Monthly prices incl. 19% VAT and Plesk Web Pro, minimum contract term 1 month. vCPU and memory can be flexibly increased or reduced; storage can be extended but not reduced. For shops the configurations start at M with 8 GB RAM.

On request your websites and shops run on LiteSpeed instead of Apache. As an official LiteSpeed partner we set up the web server on your managed server; you choose the licence when you order. For up to 5 domains we recommend Site Owner Plus, for agencies with many client sites the Web Host licences. LiteSpeed is available from €11.90 per month incl. VAT.

Frequently asked questions about Shopware VEP Cloud
When is the VEP Cloud worthwhile for my shop?
When an outage of your shop directly costs revenue, when you have strong peak loads, for example in the Christmas season or during promotions, or when your customers expect high availability. On the VEP Cloud we commit to 99.9% (Silver) or 99.99% (Gold), and you adjust vCPU and memory to the load. For shops without such requirements a single managed vServer is enough.
What is the difference between Silver and Gold?
Both run on our VEP Cloud with the same configurations from M to XXL. Silver offers 99.9% availability. Gold offers 99.99% availability, geo-redundancy and a backup in an independent data centre, so your shop keeps running even if one site suffers a serious outage. Which level fits depends on how much revenue depends on your shop being reachable.
Can I change the resources later?
Yes. vCPU and memory can be flexibly increased or reduced, for example for a season with high load. Storage can be extended but not reduced. You switch to another configuration; our technicians agree the timing with you so that your shop is interrupted as briefly as possible. Several servers or a cluster are possible on request.
Who takes care of Shopware updates?
We run the server: we keep the operating system, database, web server, Varnish, Redis and Elasticsearch up to date and monitor them. You or your agency update Shopware itself and its plugins and themes, for example via Composer and SSH. As a Shopware Technology Partner we know the requirements of the shop system and support you with the move and updates on a time-and-effort basis.
Do you help move to the VEP Cloud?
Yes. We support you in moving your existing shop on a time-and-effort basis: we set up the environment, transfer files and database and agree the switch with you or your agency.
