It offers a redundant architecture, snapshots and backups, flexible resources and managed security with firewall, monitoring and updates. CPU, memory and storage can be adapted at any time – without hardware changes or downtime. Operation is GDPR compliant in German data centres, looked after by our team in Germany.
When is the VEP Cloud worth it compared to a standard plan?
The VEP Cloud is worth it if you have more than approx. 1,000 users, need particularly high availability or have special requirements – such as a site-to-site VPN connection to your company network via pfSense, separate runners or Kubernetes integration. Our specialists design the right environment together with you and prepare a custom quote. For most teams our standard plans for up to approx. 1,000 users are sufficient.
Can you take over our existing GitLab instance?
Yes. We take over your existing GitLab instance via backup and restore and then update to the current version. We plan the migration together with you as part of the concept for your new environment, so that your team can carry on working as smoothly as possible.
