Who is the WordPress enterprise cloud for?
The enterprise cloud is designed for WordPress projects where downtime would be costly: large online shops, business-critical company websites, portals with high visitor numbers and cluster solutions. It runs on the Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud with redundant infrastructure and flexible resources. For smaller projects our WordPress web hosting or a managed vServer is usually enough.
What is the difference between VEP Silver and VEP Gold?
Both run on the same highly available platform. VEP Silver offers a stated availability of 99.9%. VEP Gold reaches 99.99% and adds geo-redundancy as well as a backup in an independent data centre. We recommend Gold if your website must keep running even after a major incident at one location and your data should also be backed up in a physically separate place.
Can I adjust the resources later?
Yes. On the enterprise cloud you adjust CPU, memory and storage without reinstalling. If the load rises, for example before a campaign in your shop, we increase the resources without your website having to be set up again. The entry configurations are a starting point – we plan larger environments and cluster solutions individually with you.
Are clusters and load balancing possible?
Yes. On the enterprise cloud, multiple systems and load balancing via load balancers are possible. High visitor numbers are spread across several servers, and your website stays fast even at peak load. Our specialists work out together with you which architecture makes sense for your project. Why is the term 12 months?
The entry configurations of the enterprise cloud are designed for long-term, business-critical operation and are offered with a 12-month term. This allows us to provide the stated availability and the redundant infrastructure it requires at predictable monthly prices. For individual requirements we are happy to prepare a dedicated quote for you.
Where is the enterprise cloud operated?
The Virtuozzo Enterprise Cloud is our own cloud platform and runs in German data centres, GDPR compliant and looked after by our team in Germany. LCube itself is certified to ISO/IEC 27001. With VEP Gold there is also a backup in an independent data centre, so your data is stored in a physically separate place.
